Professor Toshiaki Furukawa from Department of Health Promotion and Human Behavior and his research collaborators including Dr. Luis Farhat from Universidade de São Paulo conducted dose-response meta-analysis and recommended that practitioners should cautiously consider unlicensed doses of stimulants when administering to adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Furthermore, Professor Furukawa and his research collaborators including Dr. Davide Papola from Harvard University conducted network meta-analysis to evaluate various psychotherapies for generalized anxiety disorder in Adults. They concluded that cognitive behavior therapies should be considered the first-line choice for treatment of generalized anxiety disorder in the perspective of effectiveness and acceptability.
