On September 21st and 22nd, 2023, Dr. Kosuke Inoue from Department of Social Epidemiology gave a presentation as the representative of young researchers (L-INSIGHT Fellows) at 9th Japanese-German University Presidents’ Conference (HeKKSaGOn 2023) held in Göttingen, Germany. The participants including presidents from Japanese and German universities joined the conference. Dr. Inoue introduced past exchanges and research results by young researchers at Kyoto University and three German universities through the HeKKSaGOn framework. He also gave a powerful presentation about the importance of the funding opportunities for young researchers and future prospects of HeKKSaGOn.
