McKibbon先生は、図書館情報学がご専門で、EBMの「教科書」－ How to practice and teach EBMの著者の一人、Hyanes先生と共にPubMedのClinical Queriesを構築された方です。ご講演ではEBMや「情報」を巡る最前線のプロジェクト等をお話頂きました。京大SPHの教員、大学院生を中心に約20名ほどが熱心にお話を伺いました。

A special lecture by Dr. McKibbon from McMaster University was held at Kyoto University on 19th Sep.

She is a librarian and a chemist. Her specialty is health informatics.
Moreover, she developed Clinical Queries of PubMed with Dr. Hyanes, who was one of the authors of “How to practice and teach EBM.”

She told about recent projects of EBM and “Information.”
About 20 people including students and members of a faculty listened to her lecture with eagerness.

Finally, Dr. Atsutake Nozoe, who are Professor emeritus Aichi Shukutoku Univ, coordinated the lecture. We thank to Dr. Nozoe.
