A short-term intensive workshop on qualitative research methods was held at the Kyoto University School of Public Health, for four days from September 17 to 20, 2024. This workshop was held by Professor Pranee Liamputtong from VinUniversity in Vietnam as the guest lecturer.
Professor Liamputtong is a world authority on qualitative research and has written many books and papers on qualitative research methods.
In the workshop, participants learned about a variety of topics related to qualitative research, including what qualitative research methods are, how to create research questions in qualitative research, interview methods, unobtrusive methods, ethnography methods, how to analyze data in qualitative research, and innovative qualitative research methods that incorporates drawing and others.
