Dr. Kosuke Inoue from Department of Social Epidemiology was selected for “Innovators Under 35 Japan 2023” hosted by MIT Technology Review. He was chosen as one of the ten innovators under thirty-five years old and creating new fields for the future society.
“Innovators Under 35” is an international award hosted by the department of media “MIT Technology Review” at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US. This award is a prestigious prize highly evaluated worldwide and aims to pay attention to young innovators under thirty-five years old, who are creative and talented and tackling global problems and will create new fields in society over the next decades. In the past, Sergey Mikhailovich Brin, a co-founder of Google, and Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, a co-founder, a chairman and CEO of Facebook, were awarded. Dr. Inoue is the first researcher to suggest the importance of “high-benefit approach”, a cutting-edge strategy for precision medicine. Due to this achievement, he was highly evaluated and selected for this prize.
The prize award ceremony was held at Muromachi Mitsui Hall & Conference on November 30th, 2023.
