Short course on “Participatory Action Research”

Kyoto University School of Public Health (KUSPH) invites its students and staff to the special short course on
“Participatory Action Research”
by 2 leading experts:

Prof. Pranee Liamputtong, Western Sydney University, the editor of “Participatory Qualitative Research Methodologies in Health”, and also the author of over 300 books, book chapters, and publications.
Assistant Prof. Alicia Renedo, Lead Researcher of Dialogue, Evidence, Participation and Translation for Health (DEPTH), London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
This Short Course will cover basic theory and methods of participatory action research, together with demonstration of case studies. We are expecting active participation, discussions, and group works. The Short Course will be conducted in English.

Date: November 21 and 22, 2019

Walk-ins are welcomed also, although, we prefer that you register so we can prepare enough handouts for you.
