International Symposium will be held at Shiran.
With the theme of “Medical Humanities”, we invite famous professours
from Japan and overseas.
Lectures will be given from various viewpoints such as advanced
medicine, ethics and sociology.

NBM (Narrative Based Medicine) pioneer Dr. Brian Hurwitz will be
invited from London School to give a lecture.
This is a very valuable opportunity. (Free participation!)

Manufacturers’ Association)
He will come to Japan from Los Angeles for this symposium.

Professor Akiko Yamanaka
Former Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Visiting Professor, United Nations University (Peacebuilding / Security)
Visiting Professor, Cambridge University

Professor Carl Becker
The lecture will be given from a medical and humanities perspective.

In addition, many professors from other universities (Osaka
University, Nagoya University, Shinshu University, etc.) who are
active in the fields of medicine and sociology participate in this
symposium.
